A talk I listened to recently by Ram Dass gave me a new perspective on self-doubt as it relates to service. I think self-doubt is often mistaken for humility, but this is a misperception. Real humility is too ego-less for self-doubt. That's what makes it so powerful. Learning to distinguish is key. Self-doubt is a hindrance not a help to one who desires to be of the highest service. With a willingness to let go, the desire to serve will replace the tendency for self-doubt.
Today trade in self-doubt for selfless service.
