I grew up with the bible as my main scripture and here I am a yoga teacher. Go figure! I find the study and practice of yoga helps me understand the bible's teachings more fully and my biblical foundation deepens my understanding of yoga. Beneath dogmatic interpretations, there's an intelligent unity between the two like notes that harmonize the cosmic song. I would love to see the walls break down that isolate people from one or the other.
East and west represent mindsets more than geographical locations, and human consciousness requires the best of both in order to fully evolve.
