Remember, not all (very few in fact) relationships will accommodate your growth and evolution. Many people have a vested interest in you staying exactly the way you are because it makes them feel safe. At these junctures, you either sacrifice your transformation or you sacrifice the relationship. Even if you choose what keeps you small, LIFE has a way of forcing you out, often while kicking and screaming. Hopefully we learn eventually to skip the struggle and simply let go and move with Life's current instead of against it.
Never could I have become the person I was destined to be by remaining the person I had to be in order to be in relationship with you.
